Psychological warfare officer Saul Padover was tasked with investigating the minds of the enemy. Not only is it a valuable resource into what the average German was thinking during World War 2, it represents a novel practice of investigating the psychology of an entire nation. The jacket of the book has large chips, especially towards the bottom of the spine. The textblock is toned with age but unmarked. The boards are clothbound, undamaged but for shelfwear at the top and bottom.
