Overview

Signed copy of Harry Ellis' Dr. Pepper, King of Beverages. Inscribed to Curtis W. Meadows, Jr., a retired Texas lawyer, from the former CEO of Dr. Pepper W.W. "Foots" Clements. Signature appears to be written with a calligraphy pen, on the front pastedown. Clements began working for Dr. Pepper in 1935 as a salesman, working his way up to CEO and Chairman, and finally director up until 1995. Boards appear to be in very good condition, with minimal wear. The interior has some foxing throughout, as well as a remainder mark underneath the signature, and some eraser damage to the glossy paper on the FFEP. Otherwise, the rest of the text is clean.
