Dexter Wilson is an awkward, gangly teenager just trying to fit in at his school. One day, a very unusual Cheshire cat enters his life and changes everything for him...some for the better, and some not so much. Kind of a cross between S. E. Hinton's "The Outsiders," and J. D. Salinger"s "The Catcher in the Rye," with a touch of Madeleine L'Engle's "Arm of the Starfish" thrown in, this compelling coming-of-age novel is suitable for anyone, but geared somewhat toward Middle School and early teens. If may even wind up changing you as much as it did Dexter.
