The "Handy Strattford Edition," illustrated with steel engravings and consisting of 13 volumes, including the poems and sonnets of Shakespeare, a glossary, as well as an index to characters. All volumes contained in a leather box, gilt-stamped title on lid. All volumes VG+, fully bound in red leather boards, gilt top page edge with gilt-stamped title on spine. Volumes contained in leather-wrapped box, frequent instances of rubbing and chipping with loss at edges, moderate instances of fraying to corners. Bottom panel of box only partially connected.
