This is the story of a couple abandoning a baby. It is told through the mother's eyes in first person. Why did they do it? It was the end of the depression, and times were still hard, but why abandon their son: ? This is actually my story. I was that baby. I gained a lot of knowledge from old newspaper accounts, but most of the book is speculation though the facts are correct.
