Volume I plus the notes to Volume I (1486 pp in total). Bound in leather with embossed decorations to the edges of the boards. Volume I is split at the front joint and is missing most of the title labels from its s;ine. The notes has a large chip at the foot of the spine and is missing half of its title label. Both have heavily rubbed boards, a few notations on the endpapers and a former owner's label on the front pastedown. Text of both volumes is foxed but otherwise clean.
