Welcome to Regalia. It's a circular land where people are separated according to their function, each living in their assigned, walled Ring. Outside the concentric Rings, a deadly Swirling Desert keeps everyone contained within Regalia's walls.
Regalia is a land wholly focused on fashion, from the exuberant extravagance of the consumers in the Favored Ring, to the monotonous toils of the factory workers in the Implementor Ring.
Four times a year new fashion is designed by the Creatives, presented by the Patrons, voted on and purchased by the Favored, produced by the Imps, while the Servs do the bidding of them all.
The Cycle of Regalia is never ending. Nothing ever changes and no one has ever bucked the system. Until one special Patron sees a miracle that makes her wonder if there's something more to life than fashion; something deep and meaningful, a purpose beyond herself.
Her revelation, her curiosity, and her bold actions are not met without conflict, yet they change Regalia forever.
