When I was twelve years old, my orange tabby cat named "Jimmy" died. I was heartbroken. Forty-three years later, a little over three months after my mother passed away, my husband saw a mama cat and her kittens in the field by his work. Only one kitten born that cold winter would survive. A little orange tabby. His mother brought him to the warehouse where my husband worked to keep him warm.
