First printing in first state dust jacket, with no Sun Times review and with a Walker Percy review on the rear panel. A few chips at the head of the spine and along the folds of the dust jacket as well as some rubbing and a few closed tears. The book has some minor rubbing to the head of the spine. The first printing consisted of only 2500 copies. A scarce copy of what became one of the classic novels of New Orleans.
