Because the Father uses many ways to speak to His children, we should be careful not to miss Him because the mode of delivery might not fit our theology, our experiences, or our lack of experiences. One of the best examples of operating by theology, experiences, or lack of experiences is that a lot of non-Pentecostal believers have the paradigm that God speaks only by way of His Word, through prayer, and through preachers. On the other side we many find Pentecostal believers to believe that God is speaking through too many things and they are in danger of receiving wrong messages from wrong sources. However, the Father does speak to us today in many different ways. The many ways that the Father speaks to us today would likely mess with the theology, tradition or denominational mindset of some and cause them to limit or reject the prospect of hearing God's voice. This mindset would greatly limit our understanding of how God delivers His Word, which would also limit our ears to listen to what God is saying. If we desire to hear from Him, we will not care how the message comes to us, as long as there is communication. We would even risk having our theology changed if proven in Scriptures and it meant connecting in a new way with the King of Glory. Suppose we believed the internet was nothing but a tool of the devil and refused to use it. That instantly would limit our communication with our loved ones and friends to letters or phone calls. Our mindsets do affect how we relate and hear from people, and how we relate and hear from our heavenly Father.
