As the two young women admired the hair bows by the sales counter, Sarah Jo walked closer, drawn by their warm conversation and the colorful bows. Even with Rabekah's back to her, the strawberry blonde curls and her well shaped and proportioned body told Sarah Jo everything she needed to know. "Rabekah Mills," she cried out with her heart ready to jump out of her chest. "Yes " Rabekah questioned as she started to turn. "Oh My Goodness," she screamed as the two sisters rushed together in an embrace of Love and tears. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Kinley is a very spirited and beautiful young woman," Rans said as he watched his daughter walk away. "The man that can lasso her heart will be most fortunate. But that being said, I don't want to see any lariats building loops and being thrown around here for a good long time. Am I making myself clear Matt?" Rans Prescott's voice was firm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Name's Roscoe Money-Penny, and I ain't looking for no trouble mister, unless it is you're wanting some. Keep in mind I may not have time enough to bury you, before you go doing something stupid," the big Mountain Man said as he pulled his mule and packhorse to a stop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- W-Z Once again Billy Woodard is pointing Jack west towards the Great Basin to see his sister Mary Ann. Sarah Jo and her children are heading east, back to Liberty. But first they agree to travel the thirty miles north to the settlement together. Goodbyes are sometimes hard when you've been through rough waters together, but their time has come to go in different directions..........or has it Maybe the Heavens are still answering prayers, and unbeknownst to Billy Woodard he may still be the answer to one or two of them, even as shot up as he is. You will meet the Prescott family at the Circle P Ranch where Billy's cousin, Matt Sessions, draws his pay. Rans, the ranch owner, is a tough cowboy and his wife Amanda is top of the line. Their twin daughters, Sadie and Kinley, are the real deal, sharp in every way. Sadie is a bit of a princess, and not unlike Rabekah, born to tease. Kinley is all cowgirl through and through and has been her daddy's shadow since she could toddle and sit a horse. Not unlike the Cochran Ranch, there's real trouble brewing at the Circle P and it will take everybody working together to put the fires out and a lid back on the boiling pot. The Cochran's wagon with Sarah Jo and her little ones and outriders unknowingly roll into the middle of the trouble, but knowingly choose to Love and serve. That's what the Mills girls do....Rabekah and Sarah Jo. Love to have you join me on the journey and Thank You once again. Make sure you've read the first two books in the series to stay on track. I've got to get the horses fed and I'll pick up some of those hard tack candies you like. I thought about getting a new coffee pot to replace the shot up one, but did you know they're asking close to four bits for a new one at the mercantile. Just have to be careful not to get burnt again if any more coffee accidentally spills out of one of the bullet holes. Life on the Trail can be a little rough at times, but what a ride.
